I'm happy to announce that my CD in nearly finished and word on the CD release party will be coming soon. I actually have copies of the CD now (just so you know I'm not bluffing). I'm going to be settling on 2 venues for my CD release in the next week or so. I say 2 venues only because I want to do a big classy CD release on the Eastside for all my friends and family out there, and then do a Seattle release for my people out here. It may seem a little redundant, but I assure you I have a plan! Stay tuned for the details on these release shows.Last I just want to mention that my trio will be playing at the Bite of Seattle on July 20th on the Jazz Stage. Please join us at the Bite and pick up a copy of the new CD before the release party! We will be playing originals off of the new CD and some funky arrangements we know you'll enjoy. Mark your calendars! July 20th from 3pm-4pm...Soul Kata is also playing that day from 6:00pm-6:40pm.
